5 lbs. Million $ Yellow Glaze. Cone 10 (Dry Material)
Description: A soft, satin matt yellow glaze. Looks great sprayed or dipped in combination with the other Patina glazes. (Turquoise, Blue, Green). This glaze is considered a sculptural glaze and is best on the outside of functional pottery simple because it will "silver mark". This glaze is not available in Tom's glaze book. But, we think the formula is online.
Mixing: One order of 5 lbs of dry glaze equals approx. 1 gallon of glaze. Add water and screen 2 times thru an 80 mesh screen. 48-50 on a hydrometer.
Application: Dip or spray.
Firing: Cone 10 reduction or Oxidation
Important Note: Remember to run a few tests before applying any unfamiliar slip or glaze to lots of work. Take notes. Find the correct application for your work with the way your kiln is being fired.
