1950's Turquoise Cone 10 Reduction.
Description: This is a strong, vibrant turquoise green glaze with an opaque-gloss surface. It's stable when fired to cone 10 reduction. In this image it's shown over Black Magic Slip. It's the same, vibrant color on any cone 10 clay body. One order equals 5 lbs. of dry glaze.
Mixing: Add water and screen twice thru an 80 mesh screen. 48-50 on a hydrometer.
Application: Can be dipped or sprayed.
Firing: Cone 10 Reduction.
Important Note: Remember to run a few tests before applying any unfamiliar slip or glaze to lots of work. Take notes. Find the correct application for your work with the way your kiln is being fired.
