5 lbs. Vegas Gold Glaze Cone 10 Reduction
Description: This glaze is a lighter color iron saturate glaze. It was developed to go over other darker iron saturates. And, it looks amazing by itself. It is a nice, chestnut orange color when it's applied by itself onto a lighter color clay body or porcelain.
Mixing: One order equals 5 lbs. of dry glaze that makes approx 1 gallon of glaze when water is added. Add water and screen twice thru an 80 mesh screen. 50-52 on a hydrometer.
Application. Dipped or sprayed.
Firing: Cone 10 reduction.
Note: As with any unfamiliar slip or glaze it's always a good idea to test before putting it onto a larger important body of work. Take notes.
