5 lbs. Oil Spot for Cone 10 Oxidation
Description: This is a stable glaze with a nice variation when fired to cone 10 in an electric kiln.
Mixing: add water and screen thru an 80 mesh screen. Works well at 45 on the hydrometer.
Application: A medium thickness produces the nicest surface. It goes tobacco brown when it's applied too thin. And, it runs like the dickens when it's too thick. Always test an unfamiliar glaze before putting it on important work.
Firing: Can be dipped and sprayed. Cone 10 in an electric kiln or a reduction kiln.
