Description: The color slips in my Color Box go onto your work under your existing glazes creates and creates a new color pallet. Works best under clear, translucent, cloudy and semi-translucent glazes. We've even applied them under shino and thin tenmoku. Comes in 2 lb. quantities of dry, pre-mixed materials. Includes: Elaine's Snow White,Rose's Yellow, Tom's Orange, Rico's Red, Siri's Sky Blue and Zach's Black. Each one at 42 on the hydrometer. The great thing about this color slip is you can apply it to bisque ware, let it dry overnight, and dip, spray or paint on any of your current pallet of glazes.

Mixing: add water and screen twice thru an 80 mesh screen. Dips well between 42-45 on a hydrometer.
Application: Apply by dipping, painting or spraying onto leather hard and use as a sgraffito or mashima application. Bisque fire on. These colors can also be applied to bisque ware and allowed to dry overnight. Then, dip, spray or paint on your favorite glazes.
Firing: Cone 6-10 and in an electric kiln, gas or propane.
Note: Be sure to test any unfamiliar slip or glaze before applying to important work.
