Description: This glaze is more of a chestnut color. It's an orange tenmoku that's achieved by mixing a dark tenmoku and a yellow iron saturate glaze. It's opaque and glossy. This is not in Tom's glazebook.
Mixing: Add water and screen twice thru and 80 mesh screen. This glaze can be applied thin to medium in thickness. I would have the viscosity at 45 on a hydrometer and count to 3 or 4 on a dip.
Application: This glaze can be dipped, sprayed or poured. It's amazing (and very different) on porcelain and stonewares.
Firing: Cone 10 reduction.
