Description: Originally a crack texture glaze Bob Sperry used. We're using it a little differently by applying it over our Deco Glaze Colors: Black, White, Yellow, Pink, Mint, Purple, Pink, etc.
Mixing: Add water to keep it at a medium thickness. Screen twice thru an 80 mesh screen. Works well at 48-50 on a hydrometer.
Application: Can be dipped or sprayed. Apply Sperry Crack over any of the Deco Color Glazes that have been pre-bisque fired onto your work at cone 010. This way the glaze surface won't pull off, yet it's still absorbent enough to hang onto the Sperry Crack glaze.
Firing: Cone 10 oxidation or reduction.
