This tool is flexible and it can be manipulated to create deeper, flowing marks into the slip surface. Experiment. The nice thing is you can re-apply more Magic Slip (or, your own slip) and make other marks.
Style C is longer with a flat side and a curved side. We use this rib a lot when applying decorating slip onto a larger surface. This lightweight and supple rib is extremely flexible. It's designed to "smooth" a layer of slip (rather than take slip away).
