Description: This glaze is lovely with it's easy crystal formations without a fancy firing schedule. This glaze is in Tom Coleman's Glaze Book. This glaze runs and it's important to follow the directions below.
Mixing: Add water and screen twice thru an 80 mesh screen. Have it at 40 - 42 on the hydrometer.
Please Read: Works best on porcelain that's been bisque fired to cone 010.
Application: Dip for a count of 2. Or, Spray only 2 rotations.
This will run if it's applied too thick. Try to apply in a thin-medium application.
Fire: to cone 10 reduction. Or, fire to cone 10 in an electric kiln.
