Description: Created in high fire porcelain. I took the time in this platter to explore more options with texture, color and contrast. I decided to take my work in glazes to the next level by composing them more directly into the composition. The results are starting to remind me of textiles and fabrics. Back to my roots growing up with my mother who was a Costume Designer at Plattsbugh State University in New York.
