My work is inspired by materials. Starting with finding beach-glass, to the malleability of clay. My early learnings in high school with Jean Parsons at IAA lead me to Alfred University where I learned from Val Cushing. This body of work evolved from years of testing and experimenting with ceramic materials. 40 years later I finally feel inspired by the work coming out of the kiln.
