Description: Originally formulated to enhance Carbon Trap Shino results with our Experimental Shino technique in Tom Coleman's Workshops. We've been applying this Translucent Slip to Coleman Porcelain. This works well on Bmix also. We haven't tried it on stoneware. Be sure to test before doing a bunch of work with it.
Mixing Directions: Add water and mix with a paddle blender on a drill. Screen 2 times through an 80 mesh screen. Have it around 42 on a hydrometer.
Application: Apply by spraying onto greenware and bisque to cone 010 (1650 F). Once it's bisque fired, apply your shino as usual.
